Good News Holdings Announces Shawn Carroll and Jeff Anderson Join Its Management Team as COO and EVP, Strategic Growth
Los Angeles, CA – November 1, 2006 – Shawn Carroll and Jeff Anderson are joining Good News Holdings, the Sherman Oaks-based Christian multimedia company, it was announced today by Good News chairman George Barna. Carroll will be Chief Operating Officer and Anderson will be Executive Vice President of Strategic Growth. Carroll and Anderson will have responsibilities across all five tiers of the company: feature films, the internet, the FaithMobile cellular service, the IPTV platform The Cloud, and upcoming ventures in the network television area.
Shawn Carroll is a marketing and public policy executive who has spent the last 24 years in executive development, leadership and marketing roles. Until recently he served as the Executive Vice President of the American Quality Foundation, a New York-based quality management think-tank. Jeff Anderson is CEO of Leadership Inc. a Kansas City and San Diego-based non-profit Christian resource center whose mission is to transform our cities and our culture across the United States.
Good News Holdings has now reached critical mass as a company and Shawn and Jeff bring extensive relationships across all sectors of the faith community to greatly strengthen our management team. Their passion and commitment and their strategic thinking will enhance our effectiveness,” said Barna.
Good News Holdings is a privately held multimedia company based in Los Angeles, California. It recently announced that it would produce Anne Rice’s acclaimed bestselling novel Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt. The organization was founded in December 2005 by entertainment industry veterans E! co-founder Christopher Chisholm; Hollywood producer Martha Cotton, former Paramount Pictures President David Kirkpatrick; Silicon Valley executive Rich Christopher; bestselling author and renowned researcher George Barna and former Barna Group business partner Thom Black.
